The company's retail footprint further extends to the pharmacy sector, with drugstores operating under brand names like Cruz Verde, Fybeca, SanaSana, YZA, La Moderna, and Farmacon, found in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Mexico. Furthermore, FEMSA is engaged in industrial and logistics ventures. This includes the production and distribution of specialized equipment such as chillers, commercial refrigeration units, plastic containers, and machinery for food processing, preservation, and weighing. Its service offerings encompass logistical transport, comprehensive distribution and maintenance solutions, point-of-sale refrigeration services, and plastic solutions, alongside managing a distribution network for cleaning supplies and other consumables. As of December 31, 2021, FEMSA's retail operations boasted a substantial scale, with 20,431 OXXO stores, 3,652 pharmacies, and 567 OXXO GAS fueling stations in operation. The company has a long history, having been established in 1890, and its corporate headquarters are located in Monterrey, Mexico.
