It also provides treasury services, including treasury management, foreign exchange, short-term investment vehicles, and merchant services, alongside working capital management. Furthermore, this segment handles debt and equity underwriting and distribution, as well as advisory services for mergers and acquisitions and other corporate finance matters. Bank of America's Global Markets division engages in capital markets activities such as market-making, financing, and comprehensive securities clearing, settlement, and custody. It additionally provides sophisticated risk management products, leveraging derivatives across interest rates, equities, credit, currencies, and commodities, in addition to foreign exchange, fixed-income, and mortgage-backed securities products.
