It also offers treasury solutions, covering cash management, foreign exchange, short-term investment vehicles, and merchant services. Additionally, the segment provides working capital strategies, debt and equity capital market activities (underwriting and distribution), and advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, among others. Through its Global Markets segment, Bank of America facilitates various market activities. This includes acting as a market maker, providing financing, and offering securities clearing, settlement, and custody functions. The segment also supplies an array of risk management tools, utilizing instruments such as interest rate, equity, credit, currency, and commodity derivatives, foreign exchange, fixed-income products, and mortgage-backed securities.
